Report Scheduling

Hi, I'm Laura. 

How great would it be if you could take "Run Reports" off your to-do list for the rest of the year? 

With Skyward, you can hand over the reins to your technology by automating the process and scheduling all the recurring reports you need well in advance. 

Scheduling a Report 

To get started, go to Account Management, then Budgetary Data Mining. 

Here you will see a list of the reports you have templates for. 

Highlight the report you'd like to schedule, and then click Schedule This Report. 

Within the Runtime Parameters popup box, choose the reporting month, and then click Schedule This Report. 

In the next popup, choose when the report should run. You can select the specific days, weeks, and months. 

By default, the system will run the report between 2 and 3 a.m., but you can change this time. 

Under Additional Export Options, you can choose to email the results or export them to a specific location. 

If you don't select either of these options, the report will simply appear in your report queue. 

When you've made your selections, click Save. 

Running a Report 

If you ever want to run a report on demand, you have that option as well. 

Click on My Print Queue in the upper right corner. 

Click on Tasks, then click to see a list of all your scheduled tasks. 

Within this list, you can highlight a report. 

Then click Edit to make a change or Run Now to run it on demand.
