Hi, I'm Lauren.

There's no quicker, easier way to communicate a message than with colors.

Red? Stop. Yellow? Caution. Green? Good to go.

Wouldn't it be nice if your teachers could use this same color system to quickly identify students in need of extra help?

To set up Performance Levels, start on your Student Management dashboard.

Click on Educator Access+ to open the dropdown menu.

Click the Setup button next to Gradebook, then select Configuration.

Choose Performance Levels.

At the top of the page, note the box next to "Exclude from using Performance Levels?" Be sure this box is left unchecked.

Below, you'll see a list of all Performance Level sets created in your system.

To add a new set of levels, click Add.

Choose whether to make it active. Note that only one set can be active at a time.

Name your set, then click Save & Add Levels.

Click the Add button on the right, then fill in the box with a code, description, and color for that level.

Teachers will set the specific percentages each level will apply to.

Click Save. Use the buttons on the right to add, edit, delete, and move levels up and down.

When you're finished, click the Save button at the top.

To edit an existing set, head back to the main Performance Levels page.

Highlight the set, then click the Edit button on the right.

From here, the steps are the same as adding a new set of standards.

A color-coded system is a simple way to keep tabs on student performance.
