No matter where you are on your Skyward journey, we’ve got resources to help you. From tutorials and templates to branding and PR, let’s dive into the tools you can use to make your life easier.

Tools for Skyward newbies

If you’re new to Skyward, you'll be looking to place Skyward content in key places on your website and in your communications. We’ve got some tools to help you do just that.

It's not all that difficult to add your logo, your mission statement or slogan, and a custom message to your login page. As with most things, the biggest barrier is not knowing how. We've set out to change that. Watch this two-minute video to learn how to make your login page a thing of beauty.

Then check out this document with our logo and branding guidelines. It walks you through how to use the Skyward logo in your materials. We also created a .zip file of all available logos and variations. Click here to download the folder.

Tools for migrating to Qmlativ

The Qmlativ Migration Center has everything you need to make a smooth migration to Qmlativ. Support contacts can log in to begin the three phases of migration. Here are a few examples of the resources you’ll find:
  • Student and Business Suite overview videos
  • A migration readiness checklist
  • How to prepare your data for migration
  • How to set up your migration team

... and so much more!

Tools for improving communication with parents and students

When it comes to improving school-home communication, look no further than the Family Access Toolkit. We offer the toolkit for both SMS 2.0 and Qmlativ users, as well as a Spanish version. You can find every version of the toolkit at skyward.com/toolkit.

The toolkits are broken down into four roles: parent, student, teacher, and administrator. (Note: The Spanish toolkits only include parents and students.) The toolkits include quick tutorial videos, answers to frequently asked questions, handouts, posters, and links to blog posts. The Administrator Toolkit goes a step further, featuring a back-to-school message template, press release template, and Family Access rollout messages for parents and teachers.

Find the tutorials helpful? Don’t miss our blog post on how to embed them on your district website!

Tools for mastering Employee Access

Employee Access also has its own toolkit. It includes tutorial videos, as well as a handout and poster you can share with staff learning to use the portal. You’ll also find a high-resolution Employee Access logo for your website. Check out the SMS 2.0 Employee Access toolkit here and the Qmlativ toolkit here.

Whether you’ve been with us for 20 days or 20 years, we hope you find these resources helpful and that they cut out a couple steps for your district as you go about your use of Skyward.
