Allow us to set the scene.

It’s early March in the coastal city of St. Pete Beach. The ocean breeze blows softly as you take in the warmth of the Florida sun on your shoulders. You’re standing in the courtyard of a beautiful resort, chatting lightheartedly with new friends you met the day before.

Soon, you hear a melodic harmony float through the tropical air. The chimes indicate a new session is about to begin. You make your way to the Blue Heron room for what is sure to be an insightful and exciting presentation. You guessed it — you’re at Skyward iCon 2024!

Drawing the largest attendance to date, the 21st year of Skyward iCon was truly one for the books. Over 450 Skyward users from across the country gathered in the Sunshine State to learn, network, and have fun along the way.

With 80 informative sessions to choose from, attendees customized their conference schedule to best meet the needs of their school district. Whether on Skyward’s SMS 2.0 or Qmlativ solution, K-12 professionals gained actionable tips and takeaways to bring back to their teams. A few fan favorites this year included:

Qmlativ Student:
Empowering Wellness: Understanding Student Health to Ensure Success
New Features and Roadmap

Qmlaiv Business:

Increase Communication Through Qmlativ

SMS 2.0 Student:

Systemwide:

Change is Coming: Launching Successful District Projects

...and many more!

Interwoven between sessions was an exciting lineup of social events, engaging breaktime activities, and even a surprise musical performance. Atendees also had a chance to chat with vendors about the solutions they offer K-12 districts. The Meet the Skyward Staff reception was a smashing hit, themed snack breaks kept attendees energized each day, and the Beach Bonfire offered the opportunity to unwind with toes in the sand. Add a beautiful oceanfront location to the mix, and — voila — enjoying your time at Skyward iCon is not hard to do!

But, you don’t have to take our word for it. We asked attendees to describe their Skyward iCon experience in one word:

How about in three words?

“Relationships, opportunities, everchanging.”
“Educational; too short!”
“Bang forya buck!”
“Incredible, amazing, exceeded-all-my-expectations!”

As the premiere professional development event for Skyward users, Skyward iCon is a unique opportunity to learn from experts, connect with K-12 peers, and make unforgettable memories. The best part? The impact is felt not only by those in attendance, but also by attendees’ teams, school districts, and communities upon their return. Although Skyward iCon takes place just once a year, the effects of a well-run, well-understood SIS and ERP solution are enjoyed year-round!

If you weren’t able to join us this year, don’t worry. Skyward iCon 2025 will be here before you know it! We learn and grow each year, and our team works tirelessly to bring you an impactful and unforgettable conference experience. Mark your calendar for February 26 to 28, 2025 — it’s sure to be the best yet!
