December 11, 2007

Jim King, founder and CEO of Skyward, Inc.(www.skyward.com), a leading provider of administrative software to K-12 schools, has announced that as of January 1, 2008 he will move to a position as the Chairman of the Board for Skyward. As part of this move, Cliff King – current President of Skyward - will be promoted to CEO and Scott Glinski – current Vice President of Sales and Marketing - will be promoted to President.

Since 1980, Skyward has been serving the needs of K-12 school districts by providing industry leading administrative software to school districts around the world. Starting from the humble beginnings of the family garage, Jim King has built Skyward into one of the leading providers of administrative software for K-12 schools throughout the world. Skyward’s School Management System represents an integrated student and financial management software system designed to keep administrators, educators, and families connected.

As Chairman of the Board, Jim will take more of a “bird’s eye” view of the “day to day” operations at Skyward, leaving the attention to detail to Cliff and Scott. Succeeding Jim as CEO will be current President of Skyward, Cliff King. Cliff joined Jim in 1981 and has provided many skills to Skyward over the years. He started by assisting Jim with programming, but soon found himself also working in customer service. Shortly thereafter he was called upon to assist in sales and marketing at Skyward. Cliff has “done it all” at Skyward over the past 26+ years. This grass roots knowledge is what makes him such a natural selection for Jim to appoint him as Skyward’s next CEO.

Succeeding Cliff as President will be Scott Glinski. Scott has been with Skyward since 1987. Scott’s 20+ years of experience at Skyward have served him well in preparation for the presidency at Skyward. In 1987 Scott started in the IT (Information Technology) division of Skyward. In the fall of 1987 he moved to Saint Cloud, Minnesota to help open Skyward’s first branch office. In 1990 he moved to Bloomington, Illinois and served for 8 years as Skyward’s Illinois Branch Manager. In 1997 Scott returned to the corporate headquarters in Stevens Point, Wisconsin to serve as Vice President of Corporate Operations. In 2003 Scott was promoted to Vice President of Sales and Marketing. Scott’s wide range of experience makes him a perfect fit for the position of President at Skyward.

With these leadership changes, customers and employees will continue to see the continuity of everyday operations. Both Cliff and Scott will make sure Skyward continues to deliver the quality products and exceptional support and ongoing development of Administrative software for K-12 school districts that you have come to expect from Skyward.
